Top 10 TV Shows & Serials in India

May be it's a sin to say, but just in case if you've been fed up of cricket (first World Cup and then IPL), then here's some good news. Come this June, and your TV will provide you a variety of entertainment. From brand new reality shows to dramatic soaps, there will a lot to choose from.

Just Dance on Star Plus:
Don't miss this one if you are a Hrithik Roshan fan. Hrithik will be judging Just Dance along with choreographers Vaibhavi Merchant and Farah Khan. And if rumours are to be believed, the actor will be paid Rs. 2 crore per episode, making him the highest paid TV host!

India's Most Desirable on Star World:
Simi Garewal, Bollywood icon and the desi queen of chat is all set to return for a second rendezvous with India's rich and famous. Her new show is called India's Most Desirable and her first guest will be none other than Dum Maro Dum girl Deepika Padukone. And guess who all are in the line after her? Ranbir Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Freida Pinto, Shahid Kapoor and many more

Emotional Atyachaar 3 on UTV Bindaas:
The concept of reality TV cannot get any better (or worse) than this. If you've been addicted to Emotional Atyachaar, the show that tests one's loyalty to their partner on national TV, then not only will you be happy with the announcement of the new season, but be surprised by the change of the show's host. Believe it or not, Ajay Devgn will make his debut on TV with Emotional Atyachaar Season 3. He'll host it along with Pravesh Rana

Bade Acche Laggte Hai on Sony Entertainment Television:
If you're an eternal romantic, then this will be the show just for you. Starring Sakshi Tanwar and Ram Kapoor, Bade Acche... is a matured love story, which traces the story of two strangers getting married and gradually falling in love

Kaun Banega Crorepati 5 on Sony Entertainment Television:
Your favourite star Amitabh Bachchan is all set to make a comeback to the small screen with the fifth season of hit quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati, the Indian version of internationally popular show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?. So be ready to 'lock' (read: block) your 'primetime'

Khatron Ke Khiladi 4 on Colors:
Are you dying for some kickass action? Then don't forget to tune into your TV this June. Akshay Kumar returns as a host (thank god they didn't re-hire Priyanka Chopra), and as usual he promises extreme adventure and of course 'Torchaar

Sach Ka Saamna 2 on Star Plus:
The controversial show Sach Ka Saamna is returning to the small screen. And yes Rajeev Khandelwal, who recently got married to to Manjiri Kamtikar, will be hosting the new season as well. Last year the prize money was Rs. 1 crore. We wonder if they have raised the prize money for being truthful!

Desi Girl 2 on NDTV Imagine:
Desi Girl, which had a hit season one with Roshni Chopra emerging as the winner and Monica Bedi as a sore loser, is back with season two. The show is about city girls living in a small village, performing everyday tasks and trying to win the hearts of the villagers

Badmaash Company on Colors:
Juhi Chawla is all set to make her debut as a chat host on Indian television with a show titled Badmaash Company. Apparently it would be similar to Say Na Something To Anupam Uncle that was hosted by Anupam Kher on Zee TV a few years ago (is Bill Cosby listening?). While Anupam's show was quite a flop, we hope, Juhi will do great job

X factor on Sony Entertainment Television:
Now, this is one show where you can showcase your singing talent regardless of your age, unlike Indian Idol. Judges who will lead X Factor India are Sonu Nigam, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shreya Ghoshal. So if you've a granny who can sing like Susan Boyle don't forget to enroll her!
